The location of Facade Hotel is fantastic. everything is within walking distance in the heart of Amsterdam. The staff are friendly and always available at the reception, which made check-in and check-out hassle-free. The room I stayed in had a lovely view of the canal, which added charm to my stay. However, the room was very small and felt cramped, especially with two suitcases. The stairs leading to the rooms are steep, which could be challenging if you have mobility issues. Unfortunately, the bathroom had issues. it flooded when I used the shower, and there were limited toiletries provided. While the hotel offers coffee and tea, I expected more amenities for the price. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly place to stay and you prioritize location over space, this hotel works well, but improvements are definitely needed in cleanliness and bathroom maintenance.

We had a fantastic time exploring the area, just a short 15-minute walk to many attractions. The kids loved the nearby parks and quaint cafes. The hotel was conveniently located for accessing the entertainment district, making it easy for the whole family to enjoy our time in Amsterdam.
For dads, it would be great if the stairs were less steep. It made carrying our luggage quite a hassle and could be tough for families with small kids.

The LOCATION is amazing! You can walk to everything, which made our trip so convenient. But the stairs were pretty steep, hard with luggage. 🧳

I really enjoyed my stay! The coffee machines in the lobby were a lifesaver, and my canal view room had so much character, even though it was a bit snug. The daily room cleaning was a nice touch too!

I found the hotel's decoration charming, embodying cozy Dutch aesthetics. The common areas were inviting, and the staff were incredibly attentive, promptly assisting me whenever I needed help, making my experience enjoyable as a senior traveler.
More elevator access for senior guests would help.

Comfortable room, fantastic service, with the outstanding support of the reception staff who ensured we had everything we needed during our stay, and the location's proximity to the train station made exploring the city incredibly convenient.
No drawbacks at all.

Thin walls allowing noise from guests and the street!!! Shower pressure was unsatisfactory for a comfortable experience!!! The check-in process was frustratingly slow and disorganized, impacting our initial impression!!!
